End of Summer Update | Character Introduction: Naoki Kawashima
Hello, everybody, Akimi here~!
So sorry again for the long silence here on the blog. It's been another 4 months with little news or updates here...
Anyway, I'm sure you're all wondering what the status of our next eroge "The Mask of our Hearts" is right now! Well, there are various aspects of the project progressing at different speeds, but overall I'd say things have been pretty slow lately... On one hand, the writing is just about wrapped up, and it should be set to go through an editing phase very soon! Plus, the art is progressing quite well, and I can see that side of things finishing up in the very near future as well. On the other hand, it's been relatively slow on both the music and voice acting side of things... This summer especially saw pretty minimal progress on both those fronts, overall. But here's hoping we can get things going again soon! I still hope to have this game finished by the end of the year, and once I get a more solid idea of when things will be wrapping up, I have a lot of other exciting tidbits to share not only about TMooH, but maybe even about Akimi Ero Works's future direction in general!
Once more, sorry that things have been progressing so slowly for us. I had honestly expected work on this title to go by much faster than it has, and now here we are a year after revealing the game, and it's still uncertain of when it will be ready to go out... As project director, I do apologize to anyone who's been looking forward to this game, and ask you all to please wait just a bit longer! ;;

Naoki Kawashima
Voiced by: W.Z. Coitus
Naoki is Kaede's older brother. When Kaede was in high school, he suddenly moved away for unknown reasons, leaving Kaede and the rest of his family behind. He's an extremely well-built man, who gives off quite a rugged demeanor with his muscles and carefree mannerisms, but his personality is noticeably twisted. He places his own ideas and desires before other people's feelings, and tends to give off a vibe of uncomfortable over-familiarity. His sense of morality runs on very different standards than those of any ordinary person, and he's not opposed to getting involved in things that could be serious trouble if not handled carefully. Both Kaede and her younger brother seem awfully put off by any mention of Naoki. It's not an exaggeration to assume that he doesn't get along well with his family. One has to wonder what sins a man like this has committed in his years...
