Story
Yuuta Matsuzaki had lead a troubled, lonely life. He never quite fit in with his peers and was often bullied. Thinking he had no place in the world, Yuuta was just about ready to give up on everything, until she appeared.
Kaede Kawashima brought true happiness into Yuuta's life. He enjoyed spending time with her every day, and for the first time in his life, he felt truly happy. Time passed in the blink of an eye, and now, Yuuta and Kaede are newlyweds, fresh out of university, and they've both started to find their place in the world. Yuuta's future was looking as happy as could be.
However, something was strange.
Something was changing...
One day, a mysterious masked kid suddenly appears
before Yuuta...
He chuckles, and his haunting laughter causes Yuuta
to freeze up instantly.
"You do realize... Kaede's ****** *** with someone
else, don't you?"
His words pierce Yuuta's heart like a bullet.
There's no way that the cheerful, kind, and loving
Kaede would do something like that... right?
When Yuuta's confronted with the truth, what will

Characters
Kaede Matsuzaki
Kaede Matsuzaki (formerly Kaede Kawashima before marrying) is Yuuta's sweet, cheerful wife who he met several years ago when the two attended the same high school. She helped him through a difficult time and became the shining ray of happiness in his life. Kaede had her own troubles as well, but through meeting Yuuta she also managed to obtain happiness. The two have graduated from the University they attended together, and now they're living together happily as newlyweds, doing the work they love, surrounded by people they love.
A fairly energetic girl, Kaede tends to get pretty excited, often playing around with and teasing her loved ones, but she always makes sure not to get carried away, trying to be considerate of those around her as well. Everyone tends to love her, as she naturally has a calming "big sister" vibe to her, which suits her job as a caretaker at the local Kindergarten.
Kaede's hobbies tend to consist of the usual watching TV and browsing the internet, but ever since meeting Yuuta, she's taken on his enthusiasm for the special-effects action TV series' he's into. The two have loved sharing their enthusiasm for those shows since they first met and she became a fan. She's also really big into video games, even though she's never played many until recently, due to never owning any consoles during her childhood.
Thus, it's fair to say that at present, Kaede lives a blessed, ordinary lifestyle anyone would be comfortable with. Her happy future with Yuuta is looking bright! But, in spite of this... an immoral desire at odds with this happy life has surfaced within her. What could possibly come of such a thing...?

Yuuta Matsuzaki
Yuuta Matsuzaki is a kind, earnest young man who's always had trouble fitting in with others throughout his life. He's always had trouble making friends, but he managed to get by regardless. Even though he felt a bit secluded, he always tried to look on the bright side, until things got even worse during his time in high school, where he ended up becoming a regular target of bullying. Yuuta, who became lost in despair, was just about ready to give up on everything, until he met Kaede. Through his relationship with Kaede, he found the motivation to keep going, and together the two of them overcame their hardships, changing their lives for the better. Yuuta's love for Kaede runs very deep as a result, so naturally when the two got married, Yuuta could only feel blessed with happiness.
Despite his introverted nature, Yuuta is always striving towards his ideals, and having Kaede by his side never fails to keep his spirits up, so he can keep looking forward every day. He's a hard worker, and fairly good with the internet and electronics, but he's also striving to become a better creative writer. He loves those special-effects action TV series' that star a team of super heroes with a close bond, he grew up always being motivated by those programs, and even as an adult he still admires them. He pursued his dream, and managed to land a job at the company behind those, obtaining a small position in the writing/planning staff for the newest entry in that TV series!
Between marrying Kaede, the love of his life, and managing to obtain a dream job, Yuuta's life is only looking up! Every day, he'll continue to earnestly do his best, and cherish his time with those he cares about. But... how long will this kind of ideal happiness last?
Naoki Kawashima
Naoki is Kaede's older brother. When Kaede was in high school, he suddenly moved away for unknown reasons, leaving Kaede and the rest of his family behind.
He's an extremely well-built man, who gives off quite a rugged demeanor with his muscles and carefree mannerisms, but his personality is noticeably twisted. He places his own ideas and desires before other people's feelings, and tends to give off a vibe of uncomfortable over-familiarity. His sense of morality runs on very different standards than those of any ordinary person, and he's not opposed to getting involved in things that could be serious trouble if not handled carefully.
Both Kaede and her younger brother seem awfully put off by any mention of Naoki. It's not an exaggeration to assume that he doesn't get along well with his family. One has to wonder what sins a man like this has committed in his years...
The Masked Kid
A mysterious kid with a tendency to appear suddenly. Conveying an intimidating presence and condescending attitude, Yuuta always finds himself unnerved when this person makes an appearance. Neither his intentions, nor his identity behind the mask are known. Just who is he? Could he be pulling strings behind the scenes? What involvement does he have with Kaede, or the events unfolding in this story? The answers to these questions may or may not become clear, but one thing is for sure... Anyone who encounters this strange masked child will find themselves forced to question their own "mask."
